Free Google Business Profile Audit

See how your Google listing stacks up against the businesses around you. Enter your business name and city. Review available public listing fields using Alfa Engage’s own screening rubric. This tool does not measure lost calls or predict rankings.

Check your Google Business ProfileFree. No login needed.

Scope: This is a public-data screening, not a Google-issued score or ranking prediction. Any score uses Alfa Engage’s own basic rubric. Places types may differ from editable GBP categories. Photos are an API sample. Missing API fields do not prove information is missing from your profile. Ownership verification, profile description, services, posts, review replies, search rankings, calls and clicks are not checked. Competitor figures, when available, describe a limited nearby sample, not the entire market.

  • Made for local service businesses. Contractors, clinics, salons, home services and anyone who gets customers from Google Maps.
  • Checks your live listing. Rating, reviews, photos, hours, website and phone.
  • Compares you to nearby competitors. Your numbers next to the local average, not a generic checklist.

No login. No credit card. Your score shows right on the page.

What The Audit Checks

Five Things Customers See Before They Call

Our own 100-point rubric weights rating (20), review volume (25), returned photo sample (15), returned place type (15), website and phone (15), and hours (10). These are editorial weights, not Google ranking factors or a Google-issued score.

Star Rating

The number next to your name is the first filter. When two businesses sit side by side, the higher rating usually gets the tap.

Review Volume

When a comparable nearby sample is available, we show its average review count. Otherwise, the score uses disclosed fixed thresholds: 100, 50 and 20 reviews. These thresholds do not predict performance.

Photos

People call the business they have already seen at work. Real job photos beat an empty listing.

Hours

Missing hours can keep you out of “open now” searches. That is where a lot of urgent calls come from.

Website And Phone

A listing without a website or a phone number sends ready-to-buy customers to the next result.

How It Works

Your Score In Three Steps

Enter your business

Type your business name and the city you serve, the same way a customer would search for you.

We read your listing

We request public Google Places fields. Results may be cached for up to seven days. Not every field or competitor comparison is available for every business.

See what to fix first

Review the returned data, any available nearby sample, and suggestions to verify in your owner dashboard.

Reading Your Score

What Your Score Means

80 to 100Strong listing

The returned fields meet most of our basic rubric. This does not prove ranking, customer demand or conversion performance.

60 to 79Gaps to close

Review the flagged public fields. Confirm the actual listing before making changes.

Below 60Review needed

Several returned fields fall below our rubric. Missing API data may explain some gaps. We cannot infer lost calls from this score.

Who It Is For

When This Audit Helps Most

Before you spend on marketing

Check the listing customers already see before you pay for ads or a new website.

When calls slow down

Use this check as one input. Diagnose actual call trends using your Business Profile performance and other business records.

When a competitor keeps winning

Enter their name and city. Put their rating, reviews and photos next to yours.

Checking a new location

Compare available public details for locations in the same market. A nearby API sample is not a complete local average.

Honest Limits

What A Free Audit Cannot See

This audit reads what Google shows the public. Some of the things that move rankings the most are only visible from inside your account or from a proper local search audit.

  • Your categories. Whether your primary category matches what people actually search.
  • Your keyword rankings. Where you show up for your main services across your whole service area.
  • Services and description. Whether your listing explains what you do in the words customers use.
  • Review replies and posts. How you respond and how active the listing looks.
  • Duplicates and citations. Conflicting listings and directory info that confuse Google.
FAQs

Questions About The Audit

Straight answers about the data, the score and what happens with your details.

Run The Free Audit
Is the audit really free?

Yes. No card and no trial. Your score and the full breakdown show on the page right away. The detailed fix-it report is free too. You just add your name and email to open it.

Where does the data come from?

From Google Places API (New), with results cached for up to seven days. Returned business figures come from that source; the score and advice use our own rules. Photos are a sample and API omissions are not proof that fields are absent.

Does a higher score mean I will rank higher on Google Maps?

No. This is an Alfa Engage screening score, not a Google metric. It does not measure rankings, calls, clicks, customer preferences or full profile quality.

Can I check a competitor?

Yes. Enter any business name and city. It lets you compare returned public fields; it cannot explain customer decisions.

My business was not found. What now?

Check the spelling and city, then confirm on Google Maps. A failed search does not prove that your listing is absent. If the connection is unavailable, request a manual check.

Do you store my information?

If you ask for the full report we save your name, email, business name and score so we can follow up once. We never sell your data.

How often should I run the audit?

Once a month is enough. Reviews and competitors change, so a score from three months ago may not hold today.
